Road Network Information Services

SAV’s traffic information is accessible to users through the www.sav-a5.it portal, the Variable Message Signs along the route, through the CCISS – Onda Verde (https://www.cciss.it/web/cciss) traffic bulletin service and through the WhatsApp and Telegram messaging platforms.

Thanks to the A5 channel, it is possible to stay up-to-date on road conditions, roadworks, closures and reopenings, as well as to receive useful content for drivers directly from the SAV Operations Centres.

In addition to the website, users can obtain information on traffic and road conditions, the nearest parking and service areas, the channels available for requesting help or mechanical or medical assistance in the event of an illness, breakdown or accident on the motorway network, information about the toll and the permitted payment methods as well as the channels for requesting any toll reimbursements or compensation by calling the toll-free number 800 840 708 (from Italy) or the landline number with international dialling code +39 011 0886464 (from abroad) active 24 hours a day. General information on the use and management of infrastructure and traffic information is also provided by the Italian Regulatory and Transport Authority (ART) at www.autorita-trasporti.it.
