Users should note that a procedure is in place, on a trial basis, for a reduction in the motorway toll for the exclusive benefit of residents of Aosta Valley, as envisaged by the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Aosta Valley Autonomous Region, the Società Autostrade Valdostane – S.A.V. S.p.A and Raccordo Autostradale Valle d’Aosta R.A.V. S.p.A.

The discount is available to all people who are residents of Aosta Valley, holders of electronic toll collection contracts who use the motorway with class “A” vehicles (cars/motorcycles) limited to the stretch of motorway chosen at registration (single journey).

The benefit, equal to 50% off the nominal toll amount in force at the time of the journey, is applied once at least 2 journeys are made and in multiples of 2, for a maximum of 60 journeys over the course of one month, i.e. after 2 outbound/return journeys completed on the pre-chosen stretch, 1 will be exempt from the toll.

The amount of the benefit, which is always determined on a monthly basis with no possibility of recovery in the following month, will normally be deducted from the next invoice; if this is not technically feasible, it will be deducted at the first possible opportunity.
