Mechanical Rescue

The mechanical rescue service on the motorway is regulated by an authorisation deed signed between S.A.V. S.p.A. and the rescue organisations ACI GLOBAL SERVIZI S.p.A., EUROP ASSISTANCE VAI S.p.A. and IMA SERVIZI S.c.a.r.l., which operate through external repair shops located along the motorway.

Emergency services (ambulance, fire brigade, etc.) are guaranteed by the Emergency Operations Centre from which the following entities operate:

• Regional Civil Protection
• Fire Brigade
• Medical Assistance 118
• Forestry Corps
• Aosta Valley Mountain Rescue.

The Traffic Police

It guarantees continuous surveillance along the entire motorway route through patrols stationed at the Pont-Saint-Martin (AO) sub-section – Tel. +39 0215 830211 – and coordinated by the Traffic Police Operations Centre (C.O.P.S.) in Turin – Tel. +39 011 8165711.
