The Operations Control Centre is the company structure that coordinates traffic control and rescue activities on motorways as well as customer information on traffic and road conditions. It directs information to the relevant company structures, the Traffic Police, external rescue operators and traffic news centres.

• Motorway traffic and safety personnel

The operational staff of S.A.V. S.p.A. continuously travels the motorway, guaranteeing prompt intervention where needed. In particular, thanks to a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Italian Ministry for the Interior – Department of Public Safety – Traffic Police Service, “Traffic Wardens” can carry out traffic regulation activities, provide customer assistance, record road accidents with damage to property only, and report violations of Title II of the Italian Highway Code and related regulations to the Traffic Police.

Alternatively, the user can dial the 112 Single Emergency Number.
